TOSTEM THAI Unites Over 160 Volunteers to Plant 1,233 Trees, Advancing the "Low-Carbon Society" Vision in its 13th Year

    On Saturday, July 11, 2026, a strong force of 162 dedicated TOSTEM THAI volunteers united in their green CSR shirts and orange hats. They traveled to the Ban Nong Ka Rong Community Forest in Phlapphla Chai Subdistrict, U Thong District, Suphan Buri Province, to carry forward the company's vital environmental mission under the project: "TOSTEM THAI Builds Sustainability, Driving Towards a Low-Carbon Society," which proudly marks its 13th consecutive year.

    The event was honored by the presence of top executives, led by Mr. Anek Ubon, Director, who delivered the opening speech, and Mr. Chatchai Sukkasem, Chairman of the CSR Committee, who outlined the project's key objectives.

The team also received a very warm welcome from Mr. Peerasak Matrasri, Mayor of the Phlapphla Chai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, alongside local forestry officials and community leaders who provided expert guidance and demonstrations on proper tree planting techniques.

The main highlight of the day was the collaborative effort to plant a total of 1,233 perennial trees. The volunteers were strategically divided into three designated zones: Area 1 near the opening ceremony (233 trees), Area 2 along the grassy pathway (500 trees), and Area 3 deep within the forest edge (500 trees).


The core objective of this mission goes far beyond merely increasing green spaces or conserving and restoring the community forest. It is a strategic effort to create a natural sink for greenhouse gases (CO2), which are a primary cause of global warming.
